Introduction of C

C  is a general-purpose high level language that was originally developed by Dennis Ritchie for the Unix operating system. C Programming language is developed by Dennis Ritchie in  1972.

           C Programming language is one of the most popular programming language. It allow us to writing code that is very efficient and powerful. It is also portable language. C is widely used programming language and it is used for developing system applications and operating systems etc.

          

Java, PHP, JavaScript, and many other Programming languages are mainly based on c language.

The  first C standard is popularly known as C89. The current C standard is commonly referred as C11 which is shown in above Chart .
C is a general-purpose programming language and is used  for writing Program's in many domains, such as operating systems, numerical computing, graphical applications etc. This features of the C programming language makes it interesting to learn.

Note: C is a closer to the machine it means C compiles faster than other new languages.
